After a few weeks of tough negotiations, AMC struck a deal with “Breaking Bad” producer Sony Pictures TV for a 16-episode renewal of the Emmy-winning television drama. Production on the meth-fueled episodes, likely to be split into two final seasons, will begin in early 2012. (via.)
